We are working with a highly regarded mid-sized commercial law firm in Melbourne seeking an experienced Property Associate to join its established Property team. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a busy, high performing practice where you will work closely with respected senior practitioners on a broad range of property and development matters. You will enjoy genuine responsibility, strong client exposure, and the support of a collaborative and friendly team. The role offers a balance of autonomy and support; you will be trusted to run matters while working closely with senior lawyers who provide guidance where needed. Typical work includes: Property acquisitions and disposals Residential, retail, industrial and mixed-use developments Subdivisions and large scale residential projects Joint ventures and development arrangements Option and off-the-plan agreements Project and property management agreements Owners corporation structuring and advice Planning agreements Tenders and expressions of interest Leasing transactions GST, stamp duty and broader property advisory work You will be involved across the full lifecycle of transactions and gain exposure to complex, high value development work for long standing clients. We are seeking a Property Lawyer with: 3-5 years post admission experience in property law Strong exposure to property development or commercial property matters Confidence managing files with appropriate support A commercial, practical approach to legal work Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills A genuine interest in building a long term career in property law This role will suit someone who is technically capable, proactive, and looking for stability, development and strong mentorship within a supportive environment.
